Ordering
These terms cover cakes, pastries and other items bought from Lottie’s Bakehouse in store, by phone or through this website. Placing an order means you accept them. Custom cakes need 5–7 days’ notice; we’ll confirm every detail — design, size, filling, colour and any message — with you before baking.
Prices & payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. Custom cakes are quoted individually, so the price shown at checkout is a deposit to reserve your date, not the full amount. The balance is confirmed once details are agreed and is due on or before collection.
Deposits
A deposit secures your pickup date and is put toward the final price. Deposits are non-refundable within 48 hours of the pickup date. Outside that window, see our Refund Policy.
Collection
Orders are made fresh for collection from 10 Charlotte House Basement, Manchester, M1 4FL on your chosen date. We hold cakes on the pickup date only; please arrange an alternative in advance if you can’t collect. We don’t currently offer delivery.
Allergens
Our kitchen handles wheat, egg, milk, soya, nuts, sesame, fish and molluscs. We take care but cannot guarantee any item is free from a given allergen due to shared equipment. Tell us about allergies when ordering and check the “Contains” label on each product.

Privacy Policy

What we collect
When you place an order or send a message we collect your name, email, phone number and the details of your order. If you pay online, payment is handled by our payment provider — we don’t store your full card details.
How we use it
We use your information only to take and fulfil your order, confirm details, contact you about your cake, and keep records required for tax and food-safety purposes. We do not sell your data or send marketing without your consent.
Sharing
We share information only with the service providers that let us run the bakery — for example our payment processor — and only as needed. We may disclose information where the law requires it.
Keeping & your rights
We keep order records for as long as needed for our legal and accounting obligations, then delete them. You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing Lottiebakehouse@gmail.com.
Cookies
This site uses only the storage needed to remember your basket and order progress on your device. We don’t use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Using this site
This website is provided to let you browse our menu and place orders. By using it you agree to use it lawfully and not to disrupt, copy or misuse any part of it.
Accuracy
We keep menu items, allergen information and prices as accurate as we can, but they may change and occasional errors happen. Nothing on this site is a binding offer until we confirm your order.

All text, images and branding on this site belong to Lottie’s Bakehouse and may not be reused without permission.
Liability
We provide the site “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for issues arising from its use. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Refund Policy

Custom cakes
Because custom cakes are made to your specification, deposits are non-refundable within 48 hours of the pickup date. If you cancel earlier than that, we’ll refund your deposit less any ingredients or work already committed.
Something wrong
If an item isn’t as agreed or arrives faulty, tell us within 24 hours of collection — with a photo if you can. We’ll put it right with a remake or a refund as appropriate.
Freshly made items
For food-safety reasons we can’t accept returns of freshly made items once they’ve left the shop, except where there’s a genuine fault. This does not affect your statutory rights.
How refunds are made
